TrackOs

Empowering developers to own their time.
My goal with TrackOs was to create a desktop app that would help developers track their time and activities, in a way that is both accurate and privacy-friendly.
The app would run in the background, collecting data about the user's activities and providing insights into how they spend their time: for personal use, to track time spent on projects, to improve productivity.
I actually achivied a fully functional application, it was very exciting to see it working and was very challenging to work with Rust to basically communicate with Windows.
But for now, I have put this project on hold.
The main reason is uncertainty about how to prevent TrackOs from being used for “negative” purposes. For example, if installed on devices provided for business use, TrackOs could be used to perform precise time-tracking and activity monitoring of individuals.
